NANSHA TIANHOU PALACE
  
Nansha Tianhou Palace, next to the Lingding Ocean, the estuary of the Pearl River, is located at the southeast part of Dajiao Mountain. Situated between the mountains and the sea, the monuments lay on the cascades up to the hill. The Splendid palaces integrate the architecture heritages from the Royal Forbidden City in Beijing and the Zhongshan Mausoleum in Nanjing, and it is rated the largest of its kind in the world wide today. It is known as "the first palace of the Queen of Heaven(Tian Hou Temple)", and it is also the largest Mazu (Tian Hou) temple in Southeast Asia. The statue of Tian Hou mesures 14.5 meters high and stands in the middle of Tian Hou Temple Square. The whole Tian Hou Temple is surrounded by high green trees, and the incense creates a sacred fragrance around the temple, which makes you feel like to be in another world superior to our ordinary one.
